A few items of business...

First of all, I told Rosey that I would post a picture of the rug that I made. I made this rug out of a sheet I bought at a thrift store. I cut/ripped the sheet into about 1 1/2-2 inches wide strips and then sewed the ends of the strips together so that they made one super-long strip. Then I used the strip like yarn and crocheted it into a rug. I learned this at a Relief Society activity that I went to with Mom when I was like 13 or something like that. So now you know what you can do with your old sheets! Mine isn't too pretty, but you could probably make it look nice than I did.

Here's our Christmas tree! It's snuggled up in the corner, nice and warm. I'm pretty sure our presents are bigger than our tree, and I told Hiram that we should probably always make sure that our presents are bigger than out tree., haha. Christmas is my favorite time of year! I've been listening to Christmas music for quite a while, and Hiram is sweet and doesn't even mind.

Here's our cute kitchen. Just a fun little view of our apartment.

This is our wall that I love. I'm not too great at taking picture, so if you can't tell, the two bottom pictures are family pictures, Hiram's family and my family.

These pictures are in our bathroom and I just like it, so I included it here. The top picture is Hiram running in the ocean, and the bottom picture is a bunch of my family getting ready to push off in a raft. I'm right in the middle, waving at the camera. These are pictures left over from our reception.

Well, that's a little tidbit of our life! We love our little home. We are so blessed to have a warm, cozy place to live!
