November and December

We have had a wonderful holiday season! It really couldn't have been better. And we've had one of the best years of our lives. Yesterday was our 4 year anniversary, and I think this fourth year was my favorite so far. Here are pictures to show you how wonderful the holidays were for us!

Driving the tractor!

William Blair and his namesake. These two are best buds.

Aunt Risa

Karl spent a good part of the weekend building elaborate towers for Will to knock down. Grandpa Walker made these blocks for Will.

Will got the flu the Sunday before Christmas. Luckily it passed quickly!

The annual Christmas Eve nativity scene. Keller is an excellent shepherd.

And so is Will, binkie and all.

Levi as a wise man.

Cassie was an angel.

I was Mary because of my fittingly large belly. Royal was Joseph.

And Lincoln was a sheep, per his own request.

Christmas morning!

Will's favorite present by far was this awesome backhoe. He fell asleep with it that night.

Playing with dry rice and split peas.

Isn't Venice adorable? She was the belle of the ball every day. Such a happy girl!

Pretty soon I'll have a little baby, too! Someday I'll have a girl...someday.

I made hats for the kiddos for Christmas. Isn't this one sooooooo cute? It's supposed to be a lamb.

The boys in their ninja turtle hats.

Grandpa and Venice

We snapped a couple of family pics at Rosey's house. This is on our 4 year anniversary!

Fall

I think today was the last day of good weather around here, and I am going to miss it! But we've had a fun month in Blackfoot.

This was right before we left Logan. I was trying to get a good shot of Will and his best friend, Scott, but they wouldn't look over at the same time. But they are really best, best buds.

Will loves this frog. Thank you, Timari! And you can tell this was more packing in Logan.

The day we left Logan, we also found out the gender of our next baby: a little boy! I brought these balloons home from the hospital, and Will thought that was the coolest thing ever.

This is our new apartment. Kathy, Seth and Eli have come to visit a few times, and this was Seth and Will with their respective buckets. Will calls this bucket his "helmet" and likes to play football when he puts it on his head.

Cousin love. Will really likes Seth.

And this was about 20 or 21 weeks. It might not look like it, but I am much bigger than last time I was pregnant.

Hiram's birthday pies. Happy 26th!

And Will is being a cheeser for the camera. Our friends gave us this paper which they get free at work, and it has been fun to roll out and draw. We mostly draw tractor after tractor after tractor.

And our Halloween pumpkins. Will wanted a tractor, and backhoes are his favorite. We did them a little bit too early. They were really, really moldy before Halloween, so we actually threw them away before Halloween.

Not sure what we're doing in this picture, but it's still cute. :)

We are best buddies. Lately, Will comes over, puts his arms around my neck and says "I love you!" I can't get enough of it.

He loves to wear this swim vest. And it is not unusual for him to have a truck or tractor in his hand at any given time.

And Halloween! Mommy was a pumpkin, and Will was a construction worker, just like Grandpa. :) Thanks Rosey for the belt and hat!

Our little helper

Sometimes we just can't stop laughing at our little boy. He is at such a fun stage!

Will is a great little helper lately. He loves to help me clean, for a little while. He's not really any big help, but it's been fun to watch him learn. Lately, I've had to remind myself that I shouldn't do as much housework while he is sleeping so that he can help me and keep learning. He especially loves throwing away his diapers, putting clothes in the dirty clothes basket, and help emptying the dishwasher.

And this cute little boy fell down on a tile floor and chipped his two front teeth. He was just running around and his feet got ahead of the rest of him. I guess it just goes to show that we just can't prevent everything! We talked to Hiram's uncle who is a dentist, and we're not doing anything about the chips in his teeth. He'll just look a little bit funny until his teeth fall out! He's still the cutest kid ever, :)

My dad stayed overnight the other day and Will warmed up to him so fast. They read a lot of books together. I love this picture.

Will is really into putting things inside other things. These cups have little slits cut in them and those are popsicle sticks to stick inside the cups. Thank you pinterest for the idea!

So handsome!

And the first belly picture! This picture does not do my little growing belly justice. I actually do look pregnant lately. I think this picture is when I was 16 weeks.

Rice+tractors=fun! Will loved playing with these. did I mention that he looovessss tractors?

He especially loves to "help" me cook. It seems to work out best for me and for the food, if he has his own little mixing bowl with his own ingredients. We were making bread, so he got a measuring cup of water and we added the sugar, salt, oil, etc. to his cup. He likes having his own thing to be in charge of.

When I walked out in the living room and saw Will like this I just cracke dup. He loves his binkie(s)! He usually only has them when his sleeping, but when he is tired and grumpy he gets them, too.7

Lots of Summer Fun

We have been having a blast this summer! Here are oodles of pictures. Enjoy!

We spend most of the day outside, playing in the water, going to the park and playing with all of the fun toys in our yard. I LOVE our new apartment, a big reason for that is because we have this shared front yard, and we play with all of our little neighbors every day.

Bike rides! We haven't been going as often as we would like, but it is still been fun!

I love this little boy's smiles.

This is from our trip to Colorado visiting Wes and Cassie. Keller and Will had fun playing together, or rather next to each other.

Hiram and the boys had lots of wrestling.

The air mattress we slept on was everyone's favorite place to play.

It was so much fun to wrestle with boys on this bed! They all loved it.

And our fun hike!

A view of the hike.

Will is officially weaned. He is loving his solid foods, especially dairy. He goes to the fridge to get yogurt all. the. time.

These are some views from Hiram's hike with the scouts. You'll have to ask him more details if you want to know where these are at.

Sometimes we make piles of pillows and jump around on them. Will loves sitting and laying on pillows. Plus we've been doing a lot of wrestling, and this makes it even more fun.

The rest of these are from the weekend of the 24th when Jill came home. All the little kids ate on this bench, which worked great for a little while, but you can see that Emma and Torger are starting on some drama there in the background.

This was the awesome slip-n-slide. i couldn't leave out any of the pictures! They are all so much fun!

Will was giving Samuel hugs. Samuel is almost 4 months, and he is the healthiest little chunker I've ever seen! He almost weighs as much as Will!

Will would really like to live on the swings. He looovvesss them.

Under dog!

I can't get enough of this picture!

The whole family together for the first time in over 2 years!

Hiram and his siblings.

We were trying to re-enact this picture of Chelsea, Brandon and Hiram. These are their 3 firstborn children, and they all look so much like their parents. sorry I don't know how to rotate the picture below...

Grandma's house is so much fun!

Will LOVES playing in the sandbox with all of these tractors.
